Biography
Bulent completed his undergraduate studies at Bilkent University in Turkey, where he double-majored in Electrical Engineering and Physics. At Yale, he is working on cavity optomechanical systems that incorporate ultra-high quality factor bulk acoustic resonators (HBARs). By leveraging the unique properties of these crystalline acoustic devices, he aims to investigate and utilize optomechanical interactions in the quantum regime.
In his free time, Bulent likes to make music and work on arrangements, he goes for long distance biking trips and sailing.
