Royce’s paper, “Millisecond Coherence Times in Gigahertz-Frequency Mechanical Oscillators,” has been published in Nature Physics. In this work, our team showed that microfabricated HBARs on z-cut quartz exhibit essentially no measurable dephasing, allowing their coherence times to extend to several milliseconds.
